When you arrive you will be asked to sign a form or two forms if you are participating in quad biking, please take time to read through the information that will be provided to you prior to your arrival so you are fully aware of the safety regulations on site before you get here, this helps us to ensure that all participants are able to fully understand all aspects of the safety instructions. please make sure to pass this information on to all other members or you group. if you have any questions please contact us on 01539 722147 or e-mail: [email protected]

Multi or Single Activity Event
Please read the following information you will be asked to sign to say that you understand the risks, rules and reasoning, and that you agree to be bound by the rules and instructors’ guidelines.
All activities at Outdoor Adventure Company involve an element of risk. There is potential for participants to trip, slip, fall, etc on and around the site causing minor injuries, especially to ankles and you are responsible for yourself and any members of your party at greater risk or vulnerability. Instructors will clearly identify any significant hazard associated with your chosen activity, will explain how to avoid injury However, they cannot protect you from all slips, falls, and knocks, bruises, cuts and grazes whilst engaged in these activities. it is your responsibility to dress appropriately for the weather conditions and terrain set out in your booking confirmation. If you are not clear about the level of risk associated with your chosen activities, please contact us before arrival. You must also provide a recent medical history and details of any medication, medical conditions, allergies and recent injuries. If you are prohibited under section 21 of the firearms act you will not be able to take part in the clay shooting activity.
We may take pictures for our social media pages. Please let the instructors know if you do not wish your photo to be shared or please sign the below to consent. Please note NO IMAGES will be shared of persons under the age or 18yrs
Alcohol and drug use is strictly prohibited, anyone found or suspected under the influence or in possession will not be able to take part in any activity we may ask you to take a breathalyser test if we have any concerns. if you have booked a Quad Biking session for yourself and anyone between 16-18yrs please show proof of age and by signing on arrival, you are confirming you are responsible for any dependants on site.
You will be asked to declare that you understand the risks associated with your chosen activity/s and accept these risks that you are not under the influence of alcohol or drugs and are fully able to take part in activities. to agree to abide by all rules and instructions at The Outdoor Adventure Company at all times and provided accurate medical and medication details.
Any persons under the age of 18yrs must be accompanied by a parent or carer on site and activities a responsible adult is required to sign on behalf of any dependants under 16yrs.
QUAD BIKES 16yrs+
you will be given the following information on arrival and asked sign to say that you understand the rules and reasoning, and that you agree to be bound by them.
All outdoor activities, especially motorised sports contain an element of risk. The management take all possible precautions to minimise risk. To further ensure the safe participation in our activities the following guidelines must be followed. All safety instructions rules and signage should be always observed on site, any person unable to follow these rules and show deliberate disregard for the safety of themselves and others will be escorted off site.
QUAD BIKE RULES
Quad bike treks are limited to persons who are physically able and of 16 years and over. You cannot quad trek if you are pregnant have had a recent or ongoing Back/Spine or neck injury. Have had a recent heart attack or stroke. Suffer from any other medical conditions which effects your motor skills. You must also provide a recent medical history and details of any medication being taken (including aspirin, etc). If you have no details to record, write "None" Alcohol and drug use is strictly prohibited anyone found or suspected under the influence or in possession will not be permitted to take part in any activity. we may ask you to take a breathalyser test if we have any concerns.

QUAD BIKE RULES
- Always obey the instructor.
- Follow the exact path taken by the instructor. NEVER leave the track or attempt to take a different route.
- Drive in a responsible and safe manner.
- Keep at least 16 feet apart. Do not let a gap form to accelerate up to the bike in front.
- Ensure that your helmet is correctly fitted and securely fastened at all times.
- Don't put your feet down while your bike is moving.
- Don't over throttle or attempt to race each other.
- Don't drive fast through water - your brakes could be affected.
- Don't attempt to overtake or continue if the trek has stopped.
- If you are unhappy at any time during the trek, stop and further instruction will be given
- Please be aware your instinct is to grip in a panic situation, please ensure that you remove your thumb off the throttle if this happens so the bike come to a stop and the breaks can be applied properly.
